As Yohani continues charting her path as a young creator this year, much of her growth is happening away from the microphone. In August, she has begun working with Theewra Worldwide, a creative startup led by Dilanjan Seneviratne, Banura, and Shanellie. What started as a chance introduction has turned into an opportunity for Yohani to immerse herself in the energy of small production teams and hands-on creative work.
On set, she is learning through experience — helping with photography, supporting video shoots, and observing the rhythm of fast, collaborative projects. Every gig offers a new angle. A new frame. A new way to understand how visuals and storytelling come together. The work is steady, practical, and rooted in real problem solving, and it is giving her the tools to sharpen her instincts beyond music alone.
For a young artist still defining her place, this behind-the-scenes immersion is essential. It is teaching her how to look at a moment, how to shape an atmosphere, and how creative direction can support a narrative long before a song reaches an audience.
